Greetings Starmen forum members,
After keeping a dream journal for around 3 years now, I’ve become inclined to draw many of the characters I’ve encountered into a world of short dioramas. This is where I came up with the idea for my sideproject “Monochrome Memories”
Inspired by “LSD Dream Emulator” and “Room of The Room Rooms”, I decided to put together a 1-bit game where you get to play through short vignettes in small rooms to traverse a vast world of interconnected small rooms.
My primary objective for this project is for players to get lost in their explorations; I hope you enjoy this project as much as I’ve enjoyed creating it!
Stay tuned for progress and updates!
Answers to some questions about the project:
Q: “What engine is this running in?”
A: RPGMaker2003, since I’m by no means a proffessional game developer by any means.
Q:“Why the 1-bit aesthetics?”
A: There’s a few reasons, but primarily it’s so I can make aesthetics quickly and easily.
Q: “When will this project be released?”
A: Honestly, I don’t know, but I’ll be posting a new screen from the game every other week or so.
