Kumatora S sprite MOTHER fan game in need of help!

A game that takes place 25 years after the events of MOTHER 2!

sprite doremichan5

For the past 7 or so months, I’ve been working on a MOTHER fangame that takes place about 25 years after the events of EarthBound/MOTHER 2.

I won’t go into huge detail right now, as the game isn’t even finished enough to produce a trailer.

For the past 7 months, I’ve been handling everything myself. Sprites, tile sets, concept art, writing, and character design. I was fairly confident that I could get it all done by myself, but as the game grows, it’s looking to be a bit too much for me to handle all on my own!

This is why, I am making one of many attempts in different places to cry out for help..! I mainly need help with enemy design, sprites, and music. I’ve attached some screenshots If anyone is interested !

It’s being made in RPG maker 2003 (same engine as CogDis). I would have picked a better engine, but by the time I realized I should have switched engines, I’d had too much progress done in RPG maker to just can it all, so I’m trying to push the limits as hard as I can!

I don’t want this game to be relegated to MOTHER fangame hell! If anybody can help, in ANY way, not just the ones listed above, please reply or reach me on discord! My username is ssike-oh#9260. _

Oh, by the way, the game’s working title is “MOTHER: Shattered Peace”.

I’m intrigued…how can I help?

Guys, do you still need help with this? This game seems very interesting, so I can help with creating and implementing sprites. I’m also good at storytelling, so if you need any suggestions I will gladly help. Anyway, this game reminds me of gratis spil which I played several months ago on one of the danish websites. It looked pretty simple from the start, but later I noticed that the game itself isn’t that easy and you need to think before every step there. I like when simple games intrigue like that, so I’m hoping your game would be similar from that perspective.
