Hi, I’m new to starmen.net, but I’m developing this fangame and I thought I’d share my progress fangame
Some things that you should know
- I started it in jan.31.2023 after losing the original sprites, and then recreating them.
- It originally was a MOTHER 4 Project, but we decided it would be better to make it a parody
- The title is literally a yo mama joke, and also supposed to be like names (for example: John Smith becomes Smith, John)
- It takes place in 2006, after aliens capture the main character’s parents
The aliens kidnapped the protagonist’s parents and other programmers to make a machine that digitizes their consciousness and uses that to swap bodies with someone or rewrite their own code with the other being whose consciousness they digitized to become powerful. There are aliens that hold the security to access “The Server.” Upon coming across all this knowledge the protag comes up with the idea to code a program that will take control of all the aliens and the game revolves around making that program, getting rid of the aliens that hold the security, and finding a way to broadcast this to all the aliens.
Here’s a mock-up for an idea I had about IDs which would show information about characters.
