Used to be made in MV but I downgraded it to VX Ace

I decided to just make a list of things I wanted to comment on. This seems really early in development so I’ve kept my commentary pretty simple:

• The earth/circle in the logo looks a bit too similar to Oddity. I’m guessing based on the Winter 2014 jokes that the game inspired you. Positively or negatively, I don’t really care, but you shouldn’t try and copy it. You should try and go for something that relates to the plot of your game like other fan-games do. I put some suggestions at the end of this post.

• I like that the game takes place in the future, just keep that in mind when you’re creating maps

• You explained what happened to the protagonists at the end of Mother 2, but you never explained the plot of this game. Who are these new characters and what is their goal? How does it relate to the older characters?

• Is Jane meant to be the daughter of Ness and Paula? I’m assuming that’s what you’re suggesting but the wording is just a bit odd.

• Maps are alright, just remember not to leave large and blank empty places with no decorations. If it’s a city, you can add more houses even if the player can’t go in them.

• The trailer just seems like it’s trying to copy Oddity, again, and it doesn’t really work. I don’t think you needed to make a trailer this early in development, I would wait until you get a bit more work done.

• If you’re not a native English speaker, I would suggest finding someone who can edit your dialogue to flow a bit more smoothly. There seems to be problems with punctuation and spacing, I don’t know if that’s intentional or on accident.

Wow, Saturn Valley looks great! I love the cave entrances and stuff, keep up the good work!

I see improvements, great job! and since we’re basically using the same engine you can contact me if there are any errors you need to be fixed! I’ll try to see if I can revert the scripts back to its originality so it doesn’t crash or bug anything out!

Wow, this is actually pretty good-looking so far!

Based on their ages, I can picture Jane as a sort of “big sister” figure for Oliver and Drivio. (Then again, she might actually be related to one or both of the boys.)

I did. Technically they’re all rearrangements, but yeah. The Onett music… I remembered an old RPG Maker project called “Gaia’s Lament” which I CANNOT find for the life of me in these old archives… The Spookane one was a rearrangement from a Mother Remake in the PK Hack section that, while showing a LOT of promise, never really came to fruition (did H.S just disappear or something?).
