Hello, I created this account today because I didn’t had one, but I know here’s a cool place for finding cool people, so here we go:
I’m brazilian, so my english is kinda bad, I like to write some stories as a hobby, one day I wrote about a Earthbound fangame and then I tried to make a game back in 2019, the problem is that I only know about the artistic part and the writing, lol, so, I do not know anything about programming, I’ve trying it since 2017, and it just give me a bad time! So, if anyone here can code, and also want to make a fangame as a hobbie, please put it in the comments section!
(I’m looking for a coder, but if someone actually wants to help with any other thing, feel free!)

Hi! What game engines have you tried? There’s a free engine called GDevelop that doesn’t have “true” coding. It’s “drag-n-drop” but there’s an event system so it’s possible to make more complex games like RPGs.
There’s also RPG Maker, which is paid, but is specifically built to make RPGs without much coding, and Mother: Cognitive Dissonanse was made in RPG Maker!

Oh yeah! I’ve tried RPG Maker, I don’t know what GDevelop is, but aside from these I’ve also tried Godot and Unity before I give up of learn coding
